Lauren Stephenson, M. Ed.
Teacher of Exceptional Children, K-2
My name is Lauren Stephenson. I have had the privilege of teaching exceptional children at RvES since it opened in 2010. Currently, I am working with grades K-2, but I've taught every grade and almost every subject. I love working with exceptional children because really, we are all exceptional, all unique, and all important. Each child deserves a chance to show what they know and can do, and to learn anything they can.

All About Mrs. Stephenson
I was born in Texas but have lived in Georgia for almost 20 years. I have a mom and dad who live in North Carolina, and a brother and sister-in-law who live in Tennessee.
I am married to Matt Stephenson. We met in high school and got married after finishing college. We have a lot of shared interests, including hiking, camping, DIY projects, and playing music together. We play in a band and enjoy playing venues around Dahlonega.
I have one son, Jude, and one dog, Harper. They are best friends and keep me busy but I can't imagine life without them. Jude is a rockstar and will join the band one day!
My family loves to TRAVEL! I feel alive when I am exploring a new place, or visiting a familiar place with new people. I have been to Honduras, China, Grand Bahama, and New Zealand. I wonder where we will travel next?
