Hello My Name Is...

Lisa McAnally

Welcome to 2nd grade.  My name is Lisa McAnally and this is my 12th year teaching.  I graduated with my bachelors in Early Childhood Education from the University of Mobile in the spring of 2004.  I then taught three years in Mobile County, which is in my home state of Alabama, Roll Tide Roll !
In the summer of 2007, I moved to Georgia and now call Dawson County home. I spent 6 years teaching 1st grade before moving to Kindergarten for four years. In 2014, I was given the opportunity to teach second grade. It is an amazing journey to watch second graders turn into independent learning machines applying the foundation skills they have been taught. I have been given the pleasure to enhance and build on those skills, as my students prepare for years to come!
